Goraj (Capital, Felaria)

Brain of the Confederation

Goraj is the capital city of the province of Felaria. It is a city that has grown in prominence and reputation throughout the previous centuries as diplomats and foreign dignitaries travel here to meet with representatives of the Cinder Confederation due to the relative safety of the city of magic. 

Within Felaria are many wonderous sites such as massive wizard towers, fantastical magical displays of street performers, and the Emerald Tower. The Emerald tower is a massive library complex from which a singular tower protrudes upwards into the sky. The tower has grown to be not only the tallest structure in the world, but also the oldest functional library in Embris. Within the Emerald Tower much of the world's history lies under the careful watch of the Emerald Eye, elite warriors of magic and blade that watch over the library and protect the information within the tower with their lives. The Rose Academy of the Arcane is the most prominent magic colleges in Felaria and one of the main campuses of the Calytrix University.

Goraj is run by the high council of mages that also manages Felaria. The police within Goraj are known as the Arminda, and protect the city through the use of powerful magic.
