Uraudi Family
The Uraudi family come from what is now the Tu’Va Wastes. However, over a thousand years ago, they were a tribe of efreeti who worshiped the primordial Uld, the Infernal.
Contractor
Prerequisites: 5 Renown
Having done a fair bit of work for the Uraudi Family and Entertainment Company, your business card is in their books. They may call upon you for a favor and will return it in kind.
Entertainment Contact: When you get a 10 or less on a Dexterity (Acrobatics) or Charisma (Performance) check to Carouse, you can reroll that check once and you must keep the new roll. You can use this feature during downtime. Additionally, when you use the same skills to Make Money during downtime or during a quest, roll the dice deciding how much money you make with advantage.
Personal Talent Agent
Prerequisites: 15 Renown
You’ve proved yourself a worthy ally to the family and have gained your own personal talent agent. They will do what they can to help you find work in the entertainment industry.
Coming to a Venue Near You!: It costs 3 days instead of 7 to carouse as a downtime activity if you use Acrobatics, Performances or a Musical Instrument and you use those skills or tools to carouse with the upper class. Additionally, you gain an additional 100 gp when you use those same skills or tools to make money as a downtime activity. When you use this feature, please include it in your downtime check for the sake of Data Management.
Volandra’s Underbelly
Prerequisites: 25 Renown
You’ve been accepted by many within the family. Your business card is no longer in the books, as anyone important enough already knows you well enough to contact you without it. Additionally, this gives you plausible deniability while dealing in any of the family’s less than savory ordeals.
Underhanded Bargaining: When you purchase something in Volandra, roll a d20. No bonuses can affect this roll. On a roll of 11 or higher, you gain a 10% reduction in the cost of the item you purchased, as the family is able to bargain (by one means or another) for a better deal. You also gain this benefit while purchasing items during a quest.
Member of the Family
Prerequisite: 40
You are an honorary member of the family. The family keeps tabs on what you are doing and aims to help in any way they can, mostly by spreading tales of your glory. When you succeed, they succeed.
Welcome to the Family: Whenever you gain one or more points of renown from a quest in or near Volandra, you gain one additional point of renown with that city or faction, to a maximum of 3 for that quest.
