Ocean's Edge
Coastal Settlements
Over the past 150 years, settlements have begun to spring up all down Ocean’s Edge. At first, they were very small and largely spread out, populations mostly consisting of tritons and wayward travelers. In more recent decades, however, they have begun to congregate into a series of city-states. Gandulfor, Anadur, and Ganady have turned into major hubs of trade down the coastline.
The growth of these settlements, however, has been temporarily stalled by the onslaught of pirates that have taken over the Elmham Trench. Certain crews reap these city-states for all their worth and leave them in flames, while other crews work to give back to these communities. If nothing else, one thing is certain: it’s a dangerous time to be living at the water’s edge.
Gandulfor is a settlement set at the foot of a mountain pass, thus allowing trade and travel with the desert dwellers of the Whispering Sands. The town's primary exports are stone and ores from the mountains.
Anadur is situated at the edge of the Yctlan jungle, and thus exports many different kinds of rare plants.
Between both Anadur and Gandulfor, is Ganady, which makes use of the Elmham trench for deep sea fishing.
The primary language of Ocean's Edge are Common, with other major languages being Primordial and Dwarvish.
