Order of Tempestuous Light

The Order of the Tempestuous Light is a faction of Bloodhunters that are primarily Ghostslayers that accept other orders except Therianthropes. Originally created to combat shadow entities of Noirtisser but have since branched to all of Embris to fight where any paranormal entities would threaten society. While most of the order are Bloodhunters, those who slay a particularly vicious foe of theirs may be invited to join. You cannot join this faction if you are a Therianthrope, nor can you gain OTL renown (even if you end up on a OTL quest).

Novice

Prerequisites: 5 Renown, Trial of Initiation

Initiation: You gain access to the Library of the Order of the Tempestuous Light in Noirtisser. You gain advantage on checks to recall information on Paranormal creatures. Allows research into said creatures by spending 3 days of DT instead of the usual week.

Apprentice

Prerequisites: 15 Renown

Specialty: Your fights and studies have helped you learn more about a specific set of creatures. Pick one of the following creatures sets to specialize in:

-Ghost Slayer: Allip, Banshee, Ghost, flameskull, revenant, shadow, spectre, sword wraith, willowisp, wraith, Poltergeist

-Vampire Hunter: Vampire, Vampire Spawn, Vampire Mind flayer, Vampire Mist

-Grave Keeper:  Zombie (various types), Ghast, Ghoul (various types) , Skeleton (various types)  Wight, Eidolon, Mummy

Armory: You gain access to the Armory of the Order and can use gear associated with your specialty. 

Hunter

Prerequisites: 30 Renown

Master of Your Domain: You’ve developed a certain knack for hunting creatures of your specialty. You can give yourself advantage on checks made regarding that creature or attacks made against that creature. This can be done a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus.

Temperance's Treasury: Through your work with the Order you‘ve gained the trust of Temperance, a powerful ghost who aids the order. She will allow you to borrow a charm from her collection. 

Knight

Prerequisites: 40 Renown

Headquarters: The Order of Tempestuous Light is a very well-funded organization and when members rise high enough within the Order, they are given rewards to fit their new station such as a place of residence and a small staff to run it.

Gain access to a prebuilt Large structure shell (no rooms currently) and a budget of 7000gp to spend on said rooms. The maintenance for this structure is 50% less than normal.

Additionally a knight within the order may attempt the trial of the masters, only 5 knights may attempt this trial and should they succeed they will gain additional benefits depending on their specialty.
