The Convergence

The Convergence calls Noirtisser it’s home, yet their roots reach throughout the world of Embris. If you need a job done or anything “procured”, the Convergence will take care of you. They are a family-oriented organization, but the blood ties can be achieved in different modes than just being born into it. The government officials in the world call the family members of the Convergence thieves, cutthroats, and other undesirable names. Their information is woefully wrong, as many of the initiatives that the family has helps the world as a whole. Regardless of the governmental influence and the most important part to remember: Family Comes First. 

Bud

Prerequisites: 5 renown

You are just starting out and getting known by the family. You know a few members and are welcome in some Convergence-safe areas around the world. This is a great position to start, but also a dangerous position as the family may send you out with fewer resources. 

Take a Cut: Whenever you do a job that gives you Convergence renown, gain an additional 200gp as payment from the family.

Digger

Prerequisites: 15 renown

You are becoming a known entity for the family. You will have free access to the Underdark and the Convergence base there. You live the motto: Family Comes First. 

Speaking Their Language: You learn Thieves Cant

Secret Shopper: Access to the Underground Shop, this is a black market shop within Noirtisser that sells poisons, drugs, and other generally illegal things. This includes all poisons within the Poison Catalogue. You can purchase these poisons at the following prices: 1,000gp for uncommon, 5,000gp for rares, 10,000gp for very rares, and 50,000gp for legendaries.  Players may only purchase 10 items from this shop per month, and must say they bought the items from “the Convergence,” in the post.

Stalker

Prerequisites: 25 renown

Outside contacts start recognizing you as a leader within the Convergence. You are now entrenched in the Family and are relied upon for your expertise. 

Family Expert: Gain expertise in one of the following skills: acrobatics, deception, intimidation, investigation, sleight of hand, stealth, thieves-tools

Criminal Contact: Receive a convergence-specific Ring of Mindshielding that also works as a sending stone to the Operator of the Convergence. You are able to gain a lower class contact for free once a month. 

Arborist

Prerequisites: 40 renown

You represent the heart of the family, a pillar of the Convergence. You cultivate the family by your presence. Underlings revere you, governmental agents fear you, and you garner respect everywhere you go. 

Kingpin: You are given the choice of a secret or underdark base for you to operate out of (Large structure within any city or in the Underdark). There are no maintenance costs for this structure. In addition you have 10 Convergence agents that you may send out on missions (or quests alongside you should the DM allow it). At the beginning of the month you may roll 1d4 and gain that many more agents at your disposal.
