Astral Sea and the Ethereal Plane

The Astral Sea 

The Astral Sea is the place where everything that doesn’t fit properly goes. It’s an endless expanse of energy and powerful beings, namely creatures that worm around the space. They feed on the things left behind, magical trinkets and unfortunate teleportation accident ‘survivors’. Rumors speak of sailors that ventured deep into the astral sea experiencing fits of madness and strange visions haunting their waking minds, they talk of writhing shapes enveloping the astral sea.

The Ethereal Plane

For residents of Embris, death is a doorway to rebirth. The Ethereal Plane is a transition plane, with souls of the recently deceased in a state of suspension, waiting for a deity to help rewrite their story back into Embris. Creatures that spawn from the Ethereal Plane consume the life around them. One of the dangers to those who travel to the Ethereal Plane. 

There are other things though, creatures that run about looking to learn from the Material Plane, only one thing is certain:
